Katherine “Kathy” McLeroy Cook
Katherine “Kathy” McLeroy Cook, 60, of West Memphis, died early Wednesday morning, Jan. 27, 2016 at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee. Kathy was born Nov. 4, 1955 in West Memphis to the late Edward Deurant McLeroy and Neumon T. Lamb McLeroy. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Memphis. She dedicated her life to serving children in her local community as well as overseas. Mrs. Cook’s survivors include her husband of 37 years, Mr. Dean Cook; a daughter, Katee Forbis (Chris) of West Memphis; two sons, Trip Cook (Kandi) and Ian Cook both of West Memphis; two sisters, Eva Dodson and Martha Sparks Morten (Ed); two brothers. Edward McLeroy and Raymond McLeroy (Susan); as well as many other family members and friends. A visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in West Memphis on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any love offerings or donations be sent to the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee.
