Payments due for town residents

The Town Council of the Town of Jennette, Arkansas passed an Ordinance to begin collecting for fire protection fees for households, businesses and churches within the Town Limits and Fire Protection District Limits of the Town of Jennette. The Fire Protection fees shall be used for the Town of Jennette’s Fire Department to purchase equipment or other things necessary to maintain the department in a state of readiness to protect property within the Town of Jennette’s Fire Department to purchase equipment or other things necessary to maintain the department in a state of readiness to protect property within the Town Limits and the Fire Protection District of the Town of Jennette. Fees are as follows and are due the 1st business day of each year: Households – $50, Churches – $100, and Businesses – $100. Pre-paying the annual fee ensures continued protection and will save homeowners in the event of a fire. If the Jennette Fire Department should respond to a fire on any person’s property that has failed to pay the Annual Fire Protection Fees shall be charged a fee as follows for each time the Fire Department responds to their property: Households – $250, Churches – $500, and Businesses – $500.
