Funeral service for Isaac C. Johnson, 68, of Parkin, who died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at V. A. Memorial Hospital in Memphis, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ Fellowship Church in Parkin. Burial will follow at Paradise Garden in Edmondson. Visitation will be Friday at Christ Fellowship Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Vanessa Johnson of Parkin; two daughters, Yvette Magers of Russellville and Jamira L. Johnson of Little Rock; two sons, Stancy C. Westbrook of Parkin and Cedric L. Westbrook of Earle; three sisters, Verna Frazier of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Vera Davis of Marion and Nettie Clay of West Memphis; six brothers, Albert Featerstone of Pinole, California, Carter Echoles of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Lee Johnson of Crawfordsville, Reginald Bogan and Jerome Bogan of Marion and Zanny Bogan of Arlington, Tennessee; his mother, Clara M. Bogan of Earle; his father, Cottrell Echoles of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and ten grandchildren.
James B. Kyle
Mr. James B. Kyle age 74, of Marion, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, in Memphis. Mr. Kyle was born Oct. 28, 1941, in El Paso, Texas. He was the son of James W. Kyle and Bernice M. Jones Kyle of Forrest City. Mr. Kyle was married to Linda Faye Jamerson and she preceded him in death in 2012. He is survived by a son, Ralph Edward Kyle of Forrest City; a sister, Linda Kilpatrick of Hot Springs; a brother, Walton Kyle and wife Elaine of Hot Springs; a step-granddaughter, Candice Crook of Little Rock; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Angela Renee Kyle. James worked for Eaton Corporation for 20 years and then worked as building & apartment maintenance manager for several different apartment complexes in Little Rock and Memphis. He was a member of Highway 77 Church of Christ in Marion. James love to hunt and fish with his friends in his leisure time. Mike Lindsey Mike Lindsey, 51, of Marion passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born Feb. 17, 1964, to William Albert Lindsey Jr., and Betty Smith in Marianna, Arkansas. Mike is survived by one son, Shane Lindsey, of West Helena. He is also survived by other extended family and a host of friends. Mike is preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services for Mr. Lindsey will be held Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas. Isabel O’Tinger, 90, of Marion, born Feb. 26, 1925, in Sunset, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy O’Tinger and her eldest son, Charles W. Archer, Jr.She is survived by her daughter, Linda Archer Gaspald of Alexandria, Louisiana; two sons, Ronald R. Archer of Marion and Robert D. Archer of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in West Memphis for 45 years.
