Larry R. Evans, 80, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015. Born Dec. 31, 1944, in Wynne, Arkansas. Son of the late Albert H. and Nellie (Warner) Evans. U.S. Army Veteran and water well driller. Irene Blackwell Pilgrim

Irene Blackwell Pilgrim, 71, of Marion passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Paulene Blackwell; and her sister, Lorene Vuncannon. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Pilgrim of Marion; two daughters, Paula Pilgrim of Marion and Madonna Beith (Chris) of Marion; two grandchildren, Laquita Sampley and Christopher Sampley; a sister, Earlene Suthern (Billy) of Dyess; and two brothers, Murrell Blackwell of Trumann, and John Blackwell (Jackie) of Finger, Tennessee. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Mid-South Greyhound Adoption. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, at Roller Citizens Funeral Home.  Services will follow at 2 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. David Lee Ratcliff

David Lee Ratcliff, 73, of West Memphis, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2015 in the VA Medical Center, Memphis. Visitation Friday, Jan. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony Funeral Home South Chapel and Saturday, January 9th from 10 to 11 a.m. in Faith International Ministry Center Church, West Memphis. Services will follow at 11 a.m. in the church with burial in Paradise Garden Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Ratcliff of West Memphis; two sons, Christopher Baskin and Bryan Baskin of Omaha, Nebraska; one sister, Jennette Ratcliff-Cummings of West Memphis; one brother, Nathaniel Ratcliff of West Memphis; four grandchildren and great grandchild.
