Frances Louis Brown Montgomery

Frances Louis Brown Montgomery went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015. She was born on July 14, 1927, in Cotton Plant, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Charles Lee Montgomery, Jr.; her parents, Pascal T. Brown and Frances O. Brown; her sister, Julia Brown Ritchie; her brother, John T. Brown; her nephew, Clyde Ritchie, Jr.; and her grandson, Steve Montgomery. She is survived by a son, Richard Montgomery (Betty) of Moore, Oklahoma; and a daughter, Lea Ann Montgomery Denson of West Memphis; six grandchildren, Chris Montgomery (Michelle) of Plano, Texas, Debbie Meek (Jerimy) of Moore, Oklahoma, Lynlea Kizer (Kerry) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Chance Denson, Andrew Denson and Nicholas Denson; and seven great grandchildren, Brandon and Jenna Montgomery, Matt and Will Montgomery, Mason and Jackson Meek and Ellie Kizer; and a niece Linda Ritchie McClendon. She moved to West Memphis in 1969 where she and her family lived until her death. She was a Christian and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a second mom to many. She was laid to rest at a private graveside service at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015. She was loved my many and will be greatly missed.

James Curtis Pittman

James Curtis Pittman, Sr., 68, of Marion, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Pittman and one daughter, Joy Pittman. He is survived by his two sons, James Curtis Pittman, Jr. of Proctor and Larry Wayne Pittman of Columbus, Mississippi; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five sisters; and three brothers.
