Volunteer of the Year
Joann Glover, mother of Kathy Davenport of Horseshoe Lake, was recently named Wings Outstanding Volunteer of 2015 for the East location of West Cancer Center. She was presented at the Wings Volunteer Luncheon at Ridgeway Country Club. As she was unaware of this achievement, all four of her daughters were in attendance for this luncheon, and great strides were taken to make sure Mrs. Glover was surprised by the presence of her girls. Kathy was joined by her sisters Phyllis Woodruff and Anita Chandler, both of Bartlett, Tenn. and Kristin Russell of Southaven, Miss. The sisters dined at the same table as the Volunteer Coordinators, including Danielle Cox of Horseshoe Lake, the Coordinator for the Desoto location. The Glover Girls are very proud of the countless hours their mother has volunteered for the Wings Foundation, which will be for 10 years in March 2016.
