Family and friends gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving, some going out of town others having guests in their homes. Christine Littlejohn was in Wynne in the home of Sharron Littlejohn. Others present were Donna and Bobby Littlejohn, Becky and Larry Miller of West Memphis, Lisa and Mike Carter and children Abby and Josh of Fayetteville, Deborah and Scott Littlejohn and sons James Douglas and Jacob, Terry and Robbie Hutcherson of Wynne, Shari Gross of Memphis, Hannah and Blake Lowery of Marion, Logan and Jake Miller of Crawfordsville. Guests in the home of Steve Stewart included Helen Stewart of Jonesboro, Shari and Carlton Burt and children Berre, Brianne and Braeden of Larned, Kansas. Braeden is a student at the University of Mississippi in Oxford. Sue Ann Elms’ family had Thanksgiving dinner at her home on Saturday. Those present were Sinthey Ann Breyel and Sharon Ulrich of Lewisville, Texas, Kathryn Smith and Mason Goheen of Cabot, Jacob Franks Sanders of West Point, Staci Fitzgerald and children Karli Joyce, Elizabeth and Mason of North Little Rock, Kevin Elms of Russellville, Sydney and Phillip Gangluff of Nashville, Tennessee, Eric Elms and Corey Lewis of Memphis. Terre and Bobby Rodgers enjoyed having family members in their home including Mary Jane and J. B. Edwards, Linda Jo Branch, Tracey and Wade Rodgers of Earle, Cindy and Rev. Rex Dickey of Bella Vista, Brittany Ayala and Bobby Rodgers, Jr. and Stella Rodgers of Marion, Julie Thompson and children Lexi and Cooper, Angela Shephard and children Mikayla and Brady, Colby Rogers, Brittany Boyd and Carsyn Rogers of Wynne. Andrea and Frank Jewell and son Ian of Marietta, Georgia spent the holiday in the home of Charlene and Elbert Person. Janet and Wayne Gately and daughter Anna, Trey Gately, Eli Gately, Johanna Gately, Trent Gately, Julie and Jim Gately and family, Lauren and Aliya, Pam and Scott Gray, Katie and Sean Gray and son Dane of Marion and Jean Clement of Huntsville, Alabama spent Thanksgiving with Doris Gately. Cathy Brooks of Cordova, Tennessee and Charlotte Brooks were at Harbor Town in Memphis in the home of Judy and Vernon Brooks.

*** J. B. Edwards was honored for his 91st birthday at the Hymn Sing held at the First Assembly of God Church Nov. 29. Birthday cake and ice cream was served following the program. Rev. Tony Wells led the singing. Accompanist was Jane Speed and Myra Arquitt. A praise group composed of Rev. Clayton Adams, pastor, Wade Young, Tracy and John Buford, Ashley Cox and Myra Arquitt sang several selections. Also singing was the children’s chorus, Crystal and Lively Holloway. A total off 55 were present.

*** Patsy and Rickey hosted a Winders family reunion at their home recently. A total of 58 were present from Earle, Wynne, Beebe, Calico Rock, Marion, Trumann, West Memphis, Cabot, Crawfordsville and Bryant.
