Bobby Malcolm Harris
Bobby Malcolm Harris, 85, of Henderson, Tennessee died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at his home. Mr. Harris was an Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Malcolm Harris and Odie Browning Harris; and also by a daughter, Judy Lynn Lassiter. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Linda Carol Harris; two daughters: Cynthia Dianne Dowdy (Joey) of Pinson, Tennessee and Jeri Vandiver (Phillip) of Princeton, Alabama; a son, Robert Harris of Batesville; a brother, Ronald Harris of Gonzales, Louisiana; and also grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 beginning at 2 p.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Javelin T. Lott
Funeral services for Javelin T. Lott, 46, formerly of West Memphis, will be held at New Zionfield Missionary Baptist Church, 1865 Rile St., Memphis, Tennessee on Dec. 5, 2015 with burial in Pleasant Rest Cemetery, Millington, Tennessee. He was a security officer. Mr. Lott died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He leaves his wife of 22 years, Mrs. Lashell P. Lott of West Memphis. He leaves a family of sixteen children; his mother, Mrs. Beatrice Haywood of Memphis; a grandmother, Willie Mae Franklin of West Memphis; five siblings, Travis Hester and Daryla Franklin of Memphis, Natasha Livingston (Jason) of Jonesboro, Brian Franklin (Dimples) and Donna Lott both of West Memphis; two aunts and one great aunt, Mattie Anderson (Samuel) and Gloria Lott of West Memphis; and great-great aunt Carrie Hollis of Jackson, Mississippi. Mr. Lott leaves 12 grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The wake will be held at Christian Funeral Directors, 2615 Overton Crossing on Friday, Dec. 4, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Margie B. Lucas
Margie B. Lucas was born in Otterville, Missouri on Sept. 13, 1922, to Claude T. and Gertrude (Gross) Bryan. She died after a lengthy illness, surrounded by loving members of her family, on Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at Tuscany Village Nursing Center. Margie and her siblings Mary Lou Anderson (Bus), Nancy Ridenour (Charlie), Henryetta Wynne-Burleson (Wayne), Betty Scott (William) and her only brother Billy Bryan (Neva), were all raised in the Kansas City area. She graduated from East High School, where she met and later married Arthur A. Lucas. They had two children, Claudia and Steve. Margie is survived by her daughter and her family, Claudia J. Hughes (Ken); her granddaughter Ginger Ashmore (Sean); and great grandson Noah. Her grandson Phillip K. Hughes (Shannon); and great grandchildren Zachary and Zoey. She is also survived by her son and his family, Steven A. Lucus (Nancy); grandson Spencer M. Lucas and great grandchildren. Victor Terry Williams, 64, of West Memphis, passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home. Services Saturday, 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest MBC with burial in Paradise Garden. He leaves four daughters, Tara Williams, Tamara Williams and Terricka Williams all of West Memphis and Tumeka Williams of Fayetteville; one son, Dedric Patterson of West Memphis; two sisters, Billie Shaw of California and Doris Phillips of Turrell; one brother, Lugene Williams of Memphis; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
